Luca Giovagnoli was born in Rimini in 1963, where he lives and works.
The work of the Rimini artist marks a flagrant anomaly; Giovagnoli, in fact, is a painter with a singular poetics that expresses his sensitivity and emotions with genuine happiness and a very personal synthesis of signs.

CRITICS

Giovagnoli builds his own and very original artistic spelling, a real private poetic language, which has in fact replaced the need to tell and describe, in favor of a free association of ideas and signs; a lyrical narrating released from the need for a structure or a plot, a happy wandering in the territories once again virgin of the imagination, finally free from the weight and intrusiveness of the digital - television images that are thrown overbearingly every day.
Giovagnoli's is a poetics that has its roots also and above all on an ability to structure the architecture of the canvas with rigor and without smudging, using different and disparate materials, from pastel to oil to collage, without fears or falsely avant-garde mistrust ; and only later, on an iron structure even though apparently free and uncertain, does Giovagnoli graft his personal visual alphabet made of graffiti, arabesques and childish memories stripped down to the essentials
